The HPA Energy Lab
The Energy Lab at Hawai’i Preparatory Academy is the first of its kind in the world—a facility for students by students that will connect these young people and their schools, allowing them to collaborate and develop sustainable living.
As a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum candidate and Living Building Challenge participant, the Energy Lab is set in an ideal location on the island of Hawai’i where the greatest variety of renewable resources on the planet are readily available and accessible. HPA’s Energy Lab is a model for sustainable buildings and a place where young people will change the paradigm of thinking to a world of sustained abundance.
