HPA is a test center for the SSAT. On the SSAT test dates, the test is administered at the HPA Village (K-8) Campus. From Kona, proceed North on Highway 19. At the intersection of 19 and 270, continue right along 19. At the intersection of 19 and 250, turn right on 19. Continue for two miles and turn left after the white fence into the Village Campus parking lot. If there are any questions on the day of testing, please call HPA Security at 808-881-4006.
HPA also is a flex test site. If you are unable to make one of the international test dates listed above, you may register for a flex test at www.ssat.org/flex and take the test at a more convenient time. Please contact the HPA Admission Office to schedule the SSAT Flex Test date.
For Fall 2008 entry, the application priority deadline is February 1, 2008. After the priority deadline, HPA still will accept applications and make admission decisions on a space-available basis.
- There is an online portion of the application that you complete and submit online and a portion that you download, print, and give to others to complete and send directly to HPA.
- After you complete and submit the application online, HPA will have electronic access to the online portion within 24 hours.
- The application is not complete until HPA has received the entire application including the recommendations, transcript, standardized test results, etc.

- After you download and print the application, please complete the forms and mail it, along with the $75 application fee, to:

- If you would like to fax the paper application before you mail it, you may fax it to the HPA Admission Office at 808-881-4003.
- Please keep a copy of the application for your personal files.
Once HPA receives part of your application, we will send you an e-mail with a login and password to access a Web site that will show you the entire application and which pieces we have received and the date we received them. This will allow you greater control over completing your application in a quick and timely manner as you will be able to see when application pieces arrive and what still is missing. Please be sure to submit an e-mail that is checked frequently for both the parents and the student applicant.
