Lava Lounge Fires Up Labor Day Weekend
Wed September 08, 2010
A strong wind and steady drizzle did not stop about 75 HPA students from gathering in the cozy, bottom floor of the Student Union Sunday night to listen to live music and poetry, performed by HPA's creative artists.
With hot chocolate and a plethora of snacks keeping everyone warm and full, no less than a dozen gifted musicians and poets took to the stage, filling the air with original tunes, favorite covers, and original poetry from 7 to 10 PM.
Lava Lounge, a student lead showcase which happens three times a year, features the best music and art of HPA's diverse and talented student body.
