Middle Schoolers Compete at MathCounts

Ten Middle School students competed at the Big Island MathCounts held February 4 at Kalanianaole School in Hilo. The HPA team, coached by math teachers Kelly Buscher and Lisa Van Kirk, placed fourth and team member Keanu Young was the top overall sixth grade finisher. Other team members included:
