Waimea Art Show
Young Artists Recognized at Na Opio Student Art Show
Middle and Upper School students participated in the Waimea Arts Council's Na Opio juried student art show at the Firehouse Gallery in Waimea. The students' work will be exhibited at the Firehouse Gallery during the month of March.
The following students received awards for their work at a reception for artists held March 8 at the gallery:
Middle School Awards: Sixth Grade—Kristiana Van Pernis, First Place; Madison Inman, Second Place; Alexa Nakamura, Honorable Mention; Seventh Grade—Emily Johnson, First Place; Hanna Salzberg Second Place and Honorable Mention; Eighth Grade—Tsukasa Akai, First Place; Kailana Powers Third Place.
Upper School Awards: Ninth Grade—Kazu Kitagawa, First Place; Sam Neal, Second Place; Tenth Grade—Jin Park and Na Yoon Kim, First Place; Jin Park, Second Place; Jessica Ahn, Third Place; Eleventh Grade—Sachi Ainge, First Place; Susanna Han, Second Place; Twelfth Grade—Rascha Jelks, First Place; Lacey Honda, Second Place.
