HPA Sports Awards Recipients Announced

WAIMEA, Island of Hawaii—HPA coaches reviewed the winter athletic season and recently honored outstanding student athletes. Students receiving awards were:

BOYS SWIMMING: Nick Penny, Most Valuable; Keahi Parker, Coach’s Award; Austin Dale, Most Improved.

GIRLS SWIMMING: Noe Vargas, Most Valuable, Summer Brorwski, Coach’s Award; Avian Ku, Most Improved.

WRESTLING: Junior Fisher, Most Valuable; Bronson Kobayashi, Coach’s Award; Keoni Colson, Most Improved.

BOYS SOCCER: Tyler Tsubota, Most Valuable; Kalei Konrad, Coach’s Award; Alex Bell, Most Improved.

GIRLS SOCCER: Charnelle Terawaki, Most Valuable; Amelia Evans and Stina Wood, Coach’s Award; Vanessa Cushnie and Ku'uipo Nakoa, Most Improved.

BOYS BASKETBALL: Rannen Tagupa-Kukahiwa, Most Valuable; Keita Kiyomitsu, Coach’s Award; Keoki Phillips, Most Improved.

GIRLS BASKETBALL: Tayler Wang and Cecily Kimura Most Valuable; Cori Wang, Coach’s Award; Dee Dee Trevino, Most Improved; Cecily Kimura, Honoring the Game.
