The following are the ARRIVAL and DEPARTURE dates for the 2008-2009 school year. We encourage you to make all of your flight reservations early. Our Travel Secretary (ustevens@hpa.edu) needs to be informed of all travel plans as soon as possible.

SCHOOL OPENING-Dorm Open

• August 17, 2008 Sunday morning

ARRIVAL of New Boarding Students and Returning Boarding Students (Check-in and registration is at the Upper Campus from noon to 3 p.m. for ALL students and parents)

THANKSGIVING BREAK

• November 26, 2008 Wednesday after 12:15 p.m.

DEPARTURE for those traveling for the Thanksgiving Holiday

• November 30, 2008 Sunday late afternoon

CHRISTMAS BREAK-Dorm Closed

• December 11, 2008 Thursday after 12:15 p.m.

DEPARTURE for the Christmas Break -Students from Asia are not able to leave until the morning of December 12 due to final exams and flight schedules.

DEPARTURE for the Spring Break-Students from Asia are not able to leave until the morning of March 12 due to school activities and flight schedules.
