Students are not allowed to keep more than $40 or expensive jewelry in their rooms. All cash over $40 dollars will be kept in the Main Office or with the director of residential life. Students can obtain their allowance in installments twice a week. Passports, airline tickets, I-20s are kept in a safe in the TRAVEL office.
Phone Card: Students can sign up to use the school's long distance service by completing the Parent Financial Form during the re-enrollment process. Students are given a personal authorization code to use the school's long distance carrier, which provides very competitive rates. Many parents and students choose the convenience of phone cards or calling cards. Phone cards are available at a number of local stores and students should compare cards to determine which ones offer the best rates for domestic and long distance.
Refrigerators: Refrigerators are not allowed. The boarding lounge has one and each faculty apartment has a refrigerator students may use.

Girls are required to have a nice dress they might wear to a wedding or to church for formal dinner, (no strapless or spaghetti straps). For aloha dress, they need an aloha print dress, mu'umu'u or blouse with a nice skirt. Slack outfits are acceptable as long as they are "formal style" or "aloha style."
School Day Dress: See the Middle School Handbook for appropriate clothing for school day dress.
