Andrew Kelsey, Director of College Counseling
Andrew Kelsey has been at HPA for 21 years. Mr. Kelsey received his B.A. in English from Vanderbilt University, his M.A. in English from the University of Mississippi, and completed graduate work in Asian Studies and Political Economics at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa.
Mr. Kelsey is a Past President of the Hawaii Association for College Admissions Counseling (HACAC) and has served on the Government Relations Committee for the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and the Hawai'i ACT Advisory Board. Mr. Kelsey has completed advanced college counseling programs at Harvard University, UC--San Diego, Santa Clara University, and Lewis and Clark College.

Cindy Montgomery, Associate Director of College Counseling
Cindy Montgomery joined HPA in 2006. Cindy earned her B.A. from the University of Rhode Island and holds M.A. degrees in Japanese Studies and Sociology from the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa.
Ms. Montgomery is a Past President of the Hawai'i Association for College Admission Counseling (HACAC) and currently sits on the HACAC Executive Board as the Development Chair. She also serves on the Current Issues and Future Trends Committee for the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC). In addition to her college counseling roles, Ms. Montgomery supports our residential programs as a dorm parent in Robertson Hall. Jane Quayle, College Counseler
Jane Quayle joined HPA in 2016 as a Swimming coach. She earned her B.S. from Virginia Tech where she played division one women's lacrosse.
Ms. Quayle is an active member of both the Hawai'i Association for College Admission Counseling (HACAC) and the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC). In addition to her role in College Counseling, Ms. Quayle supports our swimming program. She resides on campus with her husband Willy and daughters Kela (HPA '27) and Tulsi (HPA '30).
