International Student Financial Aid
Hawai'i Preparatory Academy offers very limited financial aid for international students. In 2018-2019, international students comprised a very small percent of all HPA financial aid recipients. The purpose of financial aid for international families is to attract high-performing students, while increasing global diversity at HPA. Families should review their financial situation before applying to determine if they can meet the financial obligations of attending HPA. International parents should complete both the financial aid application and complete the second supplemental International Student Form below.
Complete the forms and return it as soon as possible with the following additional required documentation:
1. Income statement on company letterhead verifying household income. There should be an income verification letter from both parents. If one parent is not working, there should be documentation explaining why the second parent is not working.
2. Bank statement showing the balance of all accounts for the past 6 months.
To receive priority consideration, please submit all forms prior to February 4, 2019. Financial aid decisions will be sent to families beginning in early March, and continue through the spring and summer based on space and availability of funds.
