“If you love the world, you will love HPA.”Being a part of the residential program at HPA means being a part of a global community. The boarding population of our school includes students from 26 countries and 13 U.S. states and territories. Our international students are an integral part of our school experience and are valuable members of our community.

The residential life program tries to pair international students with an English-speaking roommate to encourage cross-cultural and language learning. Strong friendships are often formed and many boarding students stay on the weekends or over the holidays with our local families. HPA also honors international students with a favorite tradition - International Day - where students share food, culture, language, and history with their peers.
