Although we are located in a small town, life on campus is bustling with activities! Every year, our students have hundreds opportunities to explore our island home and immerse themselves in everything our school and local communities have to offer.
Experience outdoor adventures specifically tailored to the Hawai'i Island landscape. Whether it’s reforesting trees on the slopes of Mauna Kea or trekking through the streams and mountains of Waimanu, our students work to build experiences outdoors while sustaining the land around them.
You will soon discover that HPA is full of traditions of excellence, community, and fun. Learn more about the traditions you are about to be a part of, including the annual Olympics and our unique and beautiful graduation ceremony.
