Welcome to Summer at HPA!
Summer at HPA offers students entering grades 6-12 two unique 3-week day and boarding experiences structured for academic enrichment and designed to make the most of summer and take advantage of our wondrous island-home to 80 percent of the world’s ecosystems.
$30 non-refundable application fee
Session 1: June 17 - July 05, 2019
Boarders arrive June 16 and depart on July 06, 2019
Day students attend Monday through Friday, June 17 through July 05, 2019
Session 2: July 08 - July 26, 2019
Boarders arrive July 07 and depart on July 27, 2019.
Day students attend Monday through Friday, July 08 through July 26, 2019
Summer at HPA's diverse class offerings integrate environmental stewardship and awareness, and sustainability education and practices.
Summer at HPA offers new and prospective HPA students an excellent introduction to the school’s program and instructors. Many students return every summer to take advantage of the outstanding program and staff and to meet students from around the world.
For all application packets completed and submitted by the early acceptance deadline of January 15, 2019, you will be contacted no later than February 4, 2019, with your application status.
For application packets completed and submitted by April 12, 2019, you will be contacted no later than May 1, 2019, with your application status.

Boarding Students: $4,000 ($7,500 for both) per session. Tuition covers instruction, room, board, books, supplies, airport ground transportation, after school intramural sports, most group activities, and excursions. Airfare, optional sport, health insurance, and personal expenses are extra.
Day Students: $425 ($400 for both sessions) per class block. Scuba Certification Course is two blocks and Outdoor Experience Hawaii is three blocks.
