Hui ʻŌpio After School Program

Open to All Waimea Students

The Hui ‘Opio Middle School after-school program at the Village Campus is open to all Waimea students in grades 6-8 on a quarterly basis. A wide range of courses designed to satisfy varied interests are led by qualified teachers and coaches, and they take place from 3:30-5:00 daily, Mondays through Fridays. Fees to participate go directly to hiring qualified coaches, educators, artists, and technology leaders from the community who are willing to share their knowledge with students, as well as operational costs and equipment. All students are supervised by adults during the duration of their participation.

New Offering: Check out the Wrestling Club!

Snacks are also provided, beginning at 3:10 when students check in. Students may participate as few as one day per week to as many as five, and the cost declines as more days are selected.

Anyone interested in signing up for the program should contact Program Director Liz Noetzel at lnoetzel@hpa.edu or simply fill out and return the attached forms to her at the Village Campus or via email.
