Reunion

We can’t wait to be together again!

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, HPA has made the difficult, but necessary decision to postpone our Alumni Reunion weekend slated for May 28-31, 2020. We will miss being with you all on campus, and we hope you will stay safe and well until we can come together again. Mark your calendars for May 27-30, 2021 when we will celebrate the 0 and 5 and 1 and 6 reunion year classes!

Alumni Engagement Goes Virtual

As communities and institutions everywhere work to “flatten the curve” of the COVID-19 pandemic with social distancing, HPA, too, is making the switch

Do we have your email?
We don’t often send print material, and we want to make sure we can reach you as plans unfold and schedules adjust. Please update your email address and any other contact information.

Strengthen connections
Reach out to your classmates and check to see how they are faring these days! The alumni office is always happy to help by providing you with a class list. Just send us an email at alumni@hpa.edu.

Join your class committee
Help plan virtual meet-ups and other events for your class, and help us shape plans for the 2021 reunion. Consider becoming a class scribe or class agent. Contact alumni@hpa.edu.

Provide an update
We’d love to know where you are and what’s been happening in your life. Please submit your news so it can be shared in the next Ma Ke Kula.

Give back
As we celebrate our HPA connections, we also give back to assist today’s students. The COVID-19 crisis has brought financial stress to many HPA students. For the foreseeable future, financial aid will play an even more critical role in helping students complete an HPA education.

Support current students with your reunion class gift by contributing to the HPA Fund.

Students taking the September 19 ACT

Check-in will begin at 7:30 am at Rutgers Tennis Center. Students must have been on the Big Island for at least 15 consecutive days prior to testing or they will not be admitted, per the governor's mandate. Any student from an off-island school must bring a copy of their airline ticket showing their date of arrival on the Big Island — no exceptions.

Students will be required to fill out a COVID-19 questionnaire and have a touchless temperature taken upon arrival. Anyone with a temperature over 99.9 degrees will not be admitted. All examinees must have a mask, photo ID, and No. 2 pencils. Please do not forget an approved calculator. It is recommended that students bring a water bottle and snack. No water fountains are available on campus.
