Pre-Kindergarten at HPA: Big Beginnings Start Here
Children must be at least 3 years old and not yet 5 years old by July 31 of the year of enrollment to be eligible to apply for the Pre-K program. If your child turns 5 years old on or before July 31 of the enrollment year, they are eligible to apply for the Kindergarten program instead.
HPA’s fully licensed Pre-kindergarten (Pre-K) program welcomes children ages 3 to 5 to our Village Campus in Waimea, extending the HPA experience to students at the very beginning of their educational journey.
Housed in a beautifully renovated space, the program provides a nurturing and inspiring learning environment rooted in HPA’s core values and the spirit of mālama kaiāulu — caring for our community. The program follows the traditional academic calendar from August through May.
Led by two licensed early childhood education instructors and overseen by our experienced Lower School leadership team, the program will provide a safe, joyful, and developmentally appropriate experience that encourages creativity, exploration, and foundational learning.
