Pre-Kindergarten

Follow the application steps below for Pre-Kindergarten.

Questions? We’re here to help. Call our Pre-Kindergarten admissions specialist, Stephanie Stewart, at 808-881-4091 or email sstewart@hpa.edu.

Note: Children must be at least 3 years old and not yet 5 years old by July 31 of the year of enrollment to be eligible to apply for the Pre-K program. If your child turns 5 years old on or before July 31 of the enrollment year, they are eligible to apply for the Kindergarten program instead.

1. Start a conversation with us!

We’d love to get in touch and answer any questions about HPA. Provide your info on our easy form.

2. Complete the online application.

Click “apply now” and you will be guided through the required information and forms. You don’t need to complete the application in one sitting; you can save your work and return at any time. Priority deadline: November 15, 2025.

Applications received after the deadline will be reviewed on a rolling basis, subject to space availability.

3. Investigate financial aid, if needed.

HPAʻs financial aid program currently only supports students in K-12. For Pre-K, there are a number of external programs — such as Preschool Open Doors (POD), Child Care Connection Hawai‘i (CCCH), and Kamehameha’s PKS program — that offer assistance for preschool-aged children, and we encourage families to explore these resources.
