Create wonderful memories of summer 2027!
Summer at HPA invites rising kindergarteners through fifth-graders to discover the natural beauty and cultural richness of Hawaiʻi Island. From mauka (mountain-side) to makai (ocean-side), students embark on exciting adventures through creative arts, science, gardening, games, hiking, and ocean exploration. Along the way, they build friendships, spark curiosity, and develop a deeper appreciation for our island home. Through hands-on activities and collaborative experiences, students also learn the importance of sustainability and caring for the natural environment around them.
Our dynamic enrichment program offers a variety of engaging activities, including movement and dance, music, visual arts, upcycling projects, and reader’s theatre. Activities may vary by age group and availability. Ka Makani Keiki Camp takes place at HPA’s Lower Campus, with activities held in our multipurpose spaces and outdoor areas. Camp runs daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a different off-campus excursion each Friday. Tuition includes lunch and a camp T-shirt.
You don’t have to be an HPA student to join the fun! Ka Makani Keiki Camp welcomes students from across Hawaiʻi Island and around the world.
