Pre-kindergarten at HPA

Introducing Pre-Kindergarten at HPA — Opening Fall 2026

Apply now!

Children must be at least 3 years old and not yet 5 years old by July 31 of the year of enrollment to be eligible to apply for the Pre-K program. If your child turns 5 years old on or before July 31 of the enrollment year, they are eligible to apply for the Kindergarten program instead.

We’re thrilled to share that beginning in Fall 2026, Hawaiʻi Preparatory Academy will launch a fully licensed Pre-kindergarten (Pre-K) program at our Village Campus in Waimea. This long-anticipated expansion marks a new chapter in HPA’s commitment to serving families from the very first steps of their educational journey.

HPA’s Pre-K program will serve children ages 3 to 5, offering a nurturing and inspiring learning environment rooted in our core values and the spirit of mālama kaiāulu — caring for our community. The program will be housed in a beautifully renovated space at the Village Campus and follow the traditional academic calendar (August through May).
