HPA’s Virtual Alu Mai Wins Telly Award

The Telly Awards receives over 12,000 entries from all 50 states and 5 continents

In a year in which everyone was creating digital content, we joined in – with little experience – and did our best to tell unique virtual stories highlighting the people and place of HPA. Working with the talented Kolby Moser, current parent and principal at ARIA Studios, our advancement team took HPA’s annual fundraising gala Alu Mai digital and were rewarded for our efforts with a second place finish in the 2021 Telly Awards. Established in 1979,
The Telly Awards receives over 12,000 entries from all 50 states and 5 continents. Entrants are judged by The Telly Awards Judging Council—an industry body of over 200 leading experts including advertising agencies, production companies, and major television networks, reflective of the multiscreen industry The Telly Awards celebrates. Partners of The Telly Awards include NAB, Stash Media, Production Hub, and Independent Filmmaker Project. Not bad for our first time out!
