At HPA, we believe that scholarships and aid are, at the core, about opportunity. We aim to remove barriers that prevent earnest young people from achieving their goals, and we know that our school is at its best when we make it possible for students from many different walks of life to attend. To qualify for aid, families follow our regular financial aid process through the Clarity platform. In addition to this process, some special scholarships require an additional application to HPA. The following scholarships have been established, either by donors to HPA or through community programs, that involve academic merit or other special considerations.

If you have any questions at all, please email the HPA Scholarship Committee: scholarship@hpa.edu.

HPA Seed Scholarship

Thanks to a generous new gift, HPA is very pleased to be able to offer two full scholarships for incoming kindergarteners, beginning with the 2025-26 school year. For the two students selected, these scholarships will automatically renew each year throughout their time at HPA, kindergarten through 8th grade, with a commitment from HPA to continue these scholarships for grades 9-12. These scholarships will cover the full cost of attending HPA: tuition, fees, lunches, after school care, and additional support.

To be eligible for these scholarships, applicant families must demonstrate extreme financial need through HPA’s standard financial aid process. They must also complete HPA’s standard admission process.

Seed Scholarships are awarded in recognition of the fact that talent, curiosity, and potential are not limited by circumstance. These scholarships reflect a shared belief — between HPA and the funders — that meaningful education can transform lives, families, and communities. Like planting seeds in fertile soil, we offer these scholarships with the hope that they will take root, grow, and flourish — enriching not only the lives of individual students, but also the broader HPA ‘ohana.

Interested families can establish financial need through the Clarity platform. Please email scholarship@hpa.edu with any questions.
